How to flash using Xiaomi MI Flash Tool

Today we are going to learn How to flash using Xiaomi MI Flash Tool on any Xiaomi or Redmi Smartphone. Which is build with Qualcomm Processor or Qualcomm Chip. This tool are not supported other than Qualcomm Chip for Xiaomi Mobile is build with MTK or others.

Use Xiaomi MI Flash Tool

Step 1: Download and Unzup Stock Firmware as required by your device models this type of firmware also khon as fastboot flash files on your computer. You can extract this file to a new folder “MIUI”

Step 2: Download and Unzip Mi Flash Tool on your desktop computer and inside the Mi Flash Tool folder you will be find following files as mentioned bellow picture.

Step 3: Open Mi Flash tool folder and run Setup File of MiFlash .msi as indicate by red arrow in following picture.

Step 4: Download and Install Qualcomm USB Driver on your Computer step by step. do not need to reinstall if you done before.

Step 5: Turn Off your Xiaomi android mobile device.

Step 6: Now, boot your Xiaomi android mobile device into the EDL mode or Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008. By EDL cable or shorting both test point and insert the USB cable.

Step 7: Once you have done this perfectly you will see the Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 port inside of device manager as picture. Here is detect as port no 12.

Step 8: Now you need to Open Mi Flash Tool from your program file or desktop shortcut.

Step 9: After launched Xiaomi Mi Flash Tool you can find following button as mentioned.

Step 10: Now you have to click on the “Select” Button and select the location of your firmware.

Step 10: Now just press the refresh button to find out the EDL port.

Step 11: After pressing the refresh button you will see the port and then click on Flash Button to begin the Flashing Process.

Step 12: Once flashing process is completed, you will be able to see the Success Message in Xiaomi Flash Tool.
